My friend wants to start playing and i said i'd get her an account. so willing to pay in game gold for either an unused key or an account. tyvm in advance, name the price.

I don't recommend this, since it's an open invitation to getting the account emptied out by the original owner since he/she will probably have a copy of the CD-key. Just buy the game new if you want don't want your friend to mysteriously lose all GW possessions at some future date.

Once the email and PW are changed the cd key is useless.

Anyway selling the account violates the EULA and could result in losing the account.
